- What do credits pay for?
- Credits cover the AI-powered steps — analyzing your materials, generating outlines and drafts, the AI grader, and quality checks. Uploading files, editing, and exporting are free.
- Do I need a card to start?
- No. The Free tier lets you set up an assignment, run the AI policy check, and generate an outline without entering payment details. Free starter credits are added when you sign up and stay valid for 14 days.
- Can I top up without changing plans?
- Yes. Credit top-ups are available on any plan from inside the app, and top-up credits never expire.
- What happens when a plan ends?
- Your papers and drafts stay in your account. On a monthly plan, unused plan credits roll over up to one month's worth (your balance tops out at twice your monthly credits); anything above that expires at renewal. Top-up credits never expire. Semester-pass credits expire at the end of the term.
